Iggy Starpup feature!

I had to share my friend Courtney Doom's work with you on my little corner of the Internet.
Courtney is a talented artist, this gal can seriously draw but one of the wonderful craft creations I wanted to share with you is the work she creates with embroidery hoops.
Iggy Starpup is the brand of Courtney Doom age 29, who resides in the deserts of Phoenix, AZ.
All photos of Courtney's work are used with kind permission from the artist.
Over to Courtney, enjoy!

Many moons ago Iggy Starpup, the magical pug, was sent on a mission to bestow cute crafts and illustrations upon the people of Earth. Iggy has travelled far and wide across the galaxy and in her travels she has learned much about cuteness, love, and the power of tail wags. She uses this knowledge to enrich the lives of the human race and as an extra special treat she sprinkles a bit of moondust onto all of her creations. If you look real close you can see them sparkle!

Chep Art feature!

I had to share Chep art with you.
Colourful, sweet and cute!
Here's a lovely little bio about Chep Art!

Chep is a self-taught artist from Sheffield specialising in a cute, bold style. She recently graduated from university in London where she gained a First in English Literature, majoring in Philosophy. During university she balanced her art with her studies and managed to fit in a couple of exhibitions in London. She still hopes to pursue her love of Philosophy and writing, and is currently in the early stages of writing an academic article. But is now able to focus predominantly upon art. Her art is designed to make you smile and "make your walls happy". She works mainly with acrylics & more recently, exploring techniques with spray paints. Her usual materials are canvas or wood, but has started to make ornaments and will soon be producing prints of her pieces and expanding her product range. She regularly completes commissioned pieces for customers and has some new projects in the pipeline. An on-going project for the near future is to begin a children's book. This is very much in the preliminary stages, but hopefully from early next year, will become something she can dedicate some time to. Chep hopes that people will enjoy her characters and art, and perceive the fun she portrays within it.

Iroha women's self care toy.

I'm going to be brave here and talk about something that is still slightly taboo, masturbation. God I hate that word! I am not in the least bit embarrassed about it, nor do I feel uncomfortable talking about sex in general. I think talking about sex and sexuality is healthy.  However I realise many women are still uncomfortable talking about it, despite likely enjoying it and having (maybe) a few toys. Or maybe there are some of you that loathes those fake willy type toys, I know I do.
So here is something a bit different!

Iroha designs.
Made by the Japanese company Tenga.
Three in total:

 Yuki
 Midori
 Sakura
Beautiful designs that look like Japanese candy.

Iroha is a Japanese company that make self pleasure/self care toys for women designed by women.
All their designs are very different to what is on the market right now.

I chose to review this toy for you because I don't like all those fake willies and scary looking probing toys that look painful and porn like. They turn me about as off as you can get. If you are a woman that loves that kind of thing, each gal to their own.... we are all different and unique creatures afterall...but I know from talking with friends that when we don't like those big probing numbers,  that we tend not to use anything, so this range is for them in mind. I do feel everyone, no matter what their usual toy, would no doubt love this.

So what are they like?

The simple controls are underneath the toy with a magnetic stand/charger..keeps the toy in place whilst charging..pretty sleek huh?

Here is ther stand with acrylic top on...keeps the toy safe whilst not in use/charging.
The toy feels so soft, which is due to the supple matt silicone, which warms to your skin quickly.
There is a product inside the silicone skin that create a squidgy, soft feel, bliss!
The silicone is soft and feels just like skin.
The toy fits comfortably in your hand.

Located underneath the toy are + and - buttons. You simply hold down the + to switch the toy on and the - to turn it off. There are 3 settings, one being a pulse setting. All settings are quiet but powerful.
The toy is quiet too.
Charging the toy is so easy, either via USB or the mains, includes a storage case that doubles as a magnetic charging dock.

Despite being little and soft the Yuki (which is what I have)  is a powerful lil thing and gives you very rewarding self care as and when you want it, very quickly!! :) See what I did there?
You can wash the toy with soap and hot water and better to use a water based product with it.

I am so impressed, not just with the toy, that is beautiful and wonderful to use, but in the design, the thought that has gone into this, the technology, everything. Colour me impressed.

With a £63 price tag, you would expect it to be good and it is.
The only downside of the toy is the initial chemical smell which comes from the Polyurethane Elastomer inside the silicone skin...it makes the toy feel soft...the smell does go away though!
The other downside to some will be the price, no it isn't cheap but to be honest you really get what you pay for!
Pros are that it is safe, easy to use, beautiful, fun, different, designed by women for women!

Method cleaning products review.

Have you heard of Method? More importantly do you use it? I do and have done for some time now.
I LOVE it. I love everything about it. I love the packaging. I love the writing on the packaging. I love that it is cruelty free. I love that it is made using non toxic and natural plant derived ingredients... I love that they have a sense of humour and  and I love the fragrances they use. I LOVE that they make something as laborious as cleaning, FUN!
These products are cool, ethical, smell great, don't hurt the fur babies, us or the planet and guess what...they work GREAT!

I am always telling anyone that will listen about method and I swear I don't work for them but I would if they asked me to!

Best bathroom cleaner I ever had. Eucalyptus and mint fragrance is so fresh smelling!!
The grapefruit scent is so fresh and zingy!
This dish soap is highly concentrated, cleans super well and what a cool bottle too!

This is my go-to cleaner for many things...glass mirrors, window marks, wooden furniture etc, it's great and the lavender fragrance is so soothing and fresh.

In my home I use their washing up liquid, kitchen cleaner, floor cleaner, handwash, bathroom cleaner, toilet wipes and multi-surface lavender cleaner, so yeah...bit of a fan :)
So put the hurt on dirt and go get some method in your life!

Splosh.com product review

I have the pleasure of introducing you (if you haven't heard of them before) to Splosh.com
Splosh is a unique range of household cleaning products.

Angus Grahame is the founder of Splosh and back in 2010 had a stroke of genius.
He was throwing plastic bottles in the recycling bank and realised just how insane it all was, just how wasteful to recycle perfectly good bottles, so he decided to create a range of cleaning products where the bottles could be reused time and time again!
He wanted to create a range that was Eco friendly, using plant based ingredients, cost effective and easy and fun to use.
Splosh is only ordered online, cutting out the supermarket.
I was eager for my Starter box to arrive in the mail.

Below are photos of  my Splosh "starter box"

Inside my box was:

Almond floor cleaner
Pomegranate and melon kitchen cleaner
handwash
Lavender laundry detergent

They arrive as empty bottles with  highly concentrated sachets , all you do is insert the sachet and add water!
This makes them very lightweight to deliver.
When you finish a product, you simply order more sachets, you resuse your splosh bottles time after time..great for Mother Earth huh?

The 4 product starter box is £12.95

Splosh is better for the environment than recycling all those plastic bottles.
They smell great. They clean great and they are
cost effective too.

I love using the almond floor cleaner, really shines up laminate flooring a treat and works great on wood too.
I was very happy with the products and the bottle quality. The scents are Divine too.

 Splosh says:

Splosh products are carefully formulated with the environment in mind. We use plant derived ingredients where possible ensuring our formulations are both sustainable and rapidly biodegradable once back out in the environment. There’s quite a lot of nasty stuff we don’t put in too – like parabens, caustics, phosphates, chlorine, ammonia, animal by-products or EDCs

What if I don’t like your products once I’ve tried them?

We’d be sorry to hear that, but it wouldn’t stop us giving you a 14 day 100% money-back refund.

St. Vicious jewellery!

http://www.stvicious.com

 https://www.facebook.com/sanctusvitiosus

My friend Sophie has the most amazing jewellery!

Sophie also illustrates (she did my blog artwork) and does commissions too!
I am wearing the black heart necklace and black heart earrings from her new line of jewellery in the photos.

So simple and stunning..goes with everything.

Sophie is a wonderful person and a fantastic seller, so go spend some of your moola in her shop!
Lots to choose from, even a Planchette brooch! :)

Twinkie Chan's Crochet goodies for fashion foodies book!

I am a lucky girl!
I got to review and play with Twinkie Chan's fantastic crochet book!
What a fantastic book.  Lots of bright beautiful photos, fun modern designs.
Some of you may remember when I used to make Polymer clay jewellery? Well, Twinkie Chan is wearing one of my Jam biscuit necklaces on the cover!
I have been online buds with the lovely lady for about 8 years or more. I remember Steph from live journal days and I am so thrilled for her that she has been a huge success doing what she loves and what she is VERY good at. YAY!
This fab book is all crochet patterns ranging from cupcake and Popsicle scarves to cake tissue cosies and fingerless mittens!!

Inside you'll find three sections...sweet things, fruits and veggies and savory stuff, hehe!!!!!

You will also find a "how to" which gives you help on the basics of crochet.
I love the size of the book, I would say it is around 6 by 8 inches, it fits into a bag nicely so you can take your work out and about with you!
The book itself is great eyecandy...colourful, cute, pretty and that's just Twinkie chan, hehe! The designs are so sweet and will guarantee to inspire you to make something.
If you're into crochet or have a friend/relative that is, do buy this book.

Here I have started to practice one of the cookies in just a plain cheap acrylic yarn I already have, which I like to do, until I have a pattern down.

You can buy the book here
The link will take you to Twinkie chan's etsy store where you can buy the book but also buy a crochet treat like a popsicle brooch or some cupcake fingerless mittens and much more!

I am so thrilled that Steph put a sweet message inside and signed it for me.
I am only new to crochet and found the instrictions pretty straight forward. I think it would delight all levels of ability too.

Go buy it! :)

Dollymixture clothing review!

I just adore my dress from dollymixtureclothing.co.uk
I used it in my photo shoot to show it off!
I want to say that the dress is great quality and perfect for a swing dance/retro event and anyone can wear this style as it is so flattering to any woman.
50's style dresses suit all women, don't they? Big bust or small, curvy or not. They flatter all of us and you cannot help but feel a knock out in this style.
I also want to tell you that the lady that owns the store is fantastic.
Great Customer service and bends over backwards to make you happy.
I love buying from Independent sellers. They give so much more of a personal service..you just cannot beat that.
I will be back to her store for sure!
Please visit the fab shop here

You can buy clothing, footwear, tasty looking fake food jewellery too!!

This is what the lady herself says about her store:

After looking around for that something different but unable to find it, we began making our own pieces. Having been a keen follower of the 50s era since we could remember we had plenty of inspiration.
After years of making our own kitsch jewellery pieces we found ourselves being approached by fascinated rockabilly’s and lovers of the 50s when we attended Hot Rod car shows or rockabilly weekenders, there first question was “where did you get that from?”
We began by making individual pieces for our friends and family and word spread, before we knew it people were approaching us left right and centre to create pieces they had been recommend by friends.
Before embarking on our website we attend many local craft shows and had stalls at plenty of tattoo conventions, car shows, rockabilly weekenders etc to see if there were many more like minded lovers of kitsch rockabilly alternative clothing and accessories. Well they sold like hot cakes (excuse the pun) as our name got out there at the shows we were getting requests UK wide. So we decided to go for it and in May 2010 we created Dolly Mixture Clothing.
Since then we have not looked back, being fully independent allows us to create some super kitsch pieces and also we create bespoke pieces to provide the customer with something that has never been seen before. It has been a crazy few years but we are so lucky to have a job that we love and grow even more passionate about.
You will still find us attending many of the craft fayres, tattoo conventions , hot rod shows and lots more on the lookout for further inspiration to grow our ever expanding ranges.
We pride ourselves on providing great customer service and welcome all customer feedback and comments. We hope you enjoy your experience with Dolly Mixture Clothing as much as we do.
Best Wishes
Dolly Mixture Clothing

Wonderland Wigs review!

I am seriously, SERIOUSLY in love with my Wonderland wig!!

www.wonderlandwigs.com/

I cannot rave about this wig enough!
It is soft, silky, feels so comfortable on my head, looks super authentic (people ask me if it is my hair)
BEST of all is the price for all this quality is just £24.99
100% Kanekalon synthetic fibre. Kanekalon is soft and silky and looks and feels just like real hair.
It really does.
They also sell human hair wigs...for a reasonable price too!
I want a bunch of different colours and styles. Perfect for photoshoots, nights out, to finish off a costume, great for transgender ladies and for those that need a hair boost for whatever reason!

They have all the fun colours along with the browns, blonde and red etcs.

How perfect are these fun wigs for those that have to have "normal colour" hair for work..this way they can have pink, blue, purple or long hair at the weekend!

The service is fantastic. They respond to all your questions so fast and very professional and polite.
Their website is so easy to navigate and clean looking.
I love how all the wigs are modelled on people so you can really get an idea of how they will look.
Wonderland Wigs are often used in fantastic photoshoots .
