Blogging again...

I rarely blog..I often just update my waffles on facebook but I keep forgetting how nice it is just to write, so here I go, even if I am the only one that reads it, just for fun, my waffles...

I am really looking forward to summer. In my little town right now the sun is shining bright and the clocks just went forward which means LIGHTER NIGHTS, YIPEE!!!

In a week or so me and hubby get our little summerhouse for the garden and I can not wait to paint it a pretty colour and adorn it with bunting and sweet cushions, so exciting!
We are giving our teeny garden a make over, new turf, the lot....can not wait.
I am so looking forward to sitting in the summer house drinking my fruit juice in my mason jar with my new glass straw, simple things in life people!
We even bought a little bbq, so when friends come over we can have a lovelycook out of vegan sausages and veggie burgers, yum!

It has been one hell of a winter, so long and cold...so warmer days will be very welcome and it will be a joy to have a little magical garden to enjoy them in.

I am looking forward to bike rides in summer and ever since I saw a tricycle on a friend's facebook I fell in love, I need one! I imagine popping the picnic, drinks and the chihuahuas in the basket and riding off to a nice spot for a picnic.

I met a lovely lady recently called dotty delightful, a beautiful and genuine soul, instantly felt like she was a my kinda people person....Dotty arranges the Vintage and handmade fairs in Blackpool and surrounding areas, that are amazing, she also makes super cute clothing and dolls, dresses like a magical gypsy fairy and owns the best store in Blackpool called Penny lane.

I love meeting new lovely people..isn't it great that social networking brings you together with such like minded awesome people...most of my friends I have met online, sign of the times!

I go to a stitch and bitch at her store on Wednesdays which is fab..I will tell you more about her in a feature I am going to do about her, she is one cool chickadee, grows her own food and LOVES natural medicine and products as much as I do...more about the lovely Miss Dotty soon.

In other news I am hoping to go to college to do pottery and dressmaking in the next few months, which I am pretty excited about.

I am so looking forward to warm days where you can wear a nice summer dress and a cute retro bikini but I need to get down to my bikini bod weight first!!

 I wonder if anyone relates to this....in the winter I always gain so much weight..right now I am over 12lbs where I would like to be..I swear it is because it is so cold that I eat and eat :) Soon as it gets warmer I find it so much easier to eat very healthy salads and fruits etc..I swear..if I was in a hot country I would be forever slim, ahaha. It is so annoying right now..I don't fit into some of my clothes....but no matter what size we are it doesn't affect who we really are, but it sure would be nice to lose those extra lbs and get into my cute Marilyn Monroe 50's style cropped houndstooth pants I just bought! Soon!!

How cute is this idea..you just add sunblock in a heart shape and sunbathe, you end up with a cute white lil heart :)

Come on summer days!!
