Soapopotamus review!

+Hello, hello!! I am so excited to share with you one of my most fave crafters, Soapopotamus!!!!!!
Regina makes the most beautiful things and the most realistic food soaps that I have ever seen, from chocolate brownies, friend eggs, toast and jam to donuts just dripping with glaze to name but a few!
I have drooled over her creations online for a while and was so delighted to have the opportunity to sample some of her delights (shown above) for you guys in the hope you will pop over to her store and support her :)

Regina is 29 years old and lives Texas,USA.
Regina says; I am a chubby Texas honey. I'm a nightgown wearing hand-crafter. I love critters and fibers and colors and yummy smelling, looking and feeling things
'm a making-things-type lady. I sew and make patterns and knit and crochet and have a general interest in fiber arts. I bake and cook am excited to learn all kinds of new things. Right now I'm learning to spin my own yarn and I totally love it!
I have an unnatural affection for Coca-Cola. I watch too much television and don't listen to enough music. I have a passion for everything Nintendo and many things Japanese.

Momotaro - sweet spring peach - Shea Lip Butter $3.00
Momotaro is the legendary Peach Boy of Japanese folklore. Legend has it that he came to Earth inside a giant peach, which was found floating down a river by an old, childless woman. The woman and her husband discovered the child when they tried to open the peach to eat it. The child explained that he had been sent by Heaven to be their son. The couple named him Momotarō, from momo (peach) and tarō (eldest son in the family). :D
I love mythology of all kinds and often am inspired by themes and characters found in them. For my Momotaro theme, this lip balm is flavored like a sweet spring peach.

Pistacia - creamy pistachio - Shea Lip Butter £3.00
So, my best lady friend and I have a running joke - neither of us have any intention of having children, but we love kid about what we'd name our fake babies...Pistachio for her boy, and Pistacia for my girl! and of course they'd be twins - what difference does two separate mothers make? :p
Anyhoo, this is a yummy, creamy pistachio flavor. Nutty and sweet and very nice! Kinda describes us, too. :D



My experience:
These lip butters make your lips looks glossy like you have just smeared butter on them, and they taste great, ok, ok, I know I am not supposed to be eating them but I could not help but lick it off constantly, it smells divine and tastes divine too, haha!
It made my lips feel so moist and kissable and kept my very prone to cracking lips super duper soft, I LOVE THIS but I just wish I could stop licking it off!
Great value for money so my pocket likes it and would definitely buy it and I would probably buy a few to put in my gift draw to give to people as a gift filler.


Cupcake soap $6.50
A sweet for your sweetheart! Or for for yourself! This full-size replica cupcake soap smells like yellow cake with strawberry buttercream frosting. Who can resist that big, lovely strawberry on top!?

My experience:
I REALLY did not want to use this as it is so very pretty but I had to and it was fun to use, very luxurious as this is the kind of soap I either cannot bring myself to use or I will give as a gift.
I foams up really nicely and the suds feel silky smooth, It is choc full of lovely things too, like goats milk, mmm and coconut oil, bliss!
Fantastic gift idea, I would buy this for friends in a heartbeat. It looks high quality, smells divine, quite edible but I did resist eating it as soap suds to dot taste good at all!

Girlfriend soap £5.00
Hello, cutie girlfriend! This fragrance is a bubbly, effervescent blend like of holding hands with a cute young thing on a sunny day. I honestly can't even find words to do this scent justice it's my favorite of all time! Slightly sugary deep lemon and citrus notes, sweet, saturated cake frosting , whipped cream and gorgeous. All of my bars are hand cut and feature a hand cut embellishment on the top. This one is of a double XX like a lady's chromosomes.

my experience:
Again this soap was full of lovely luxurious feeling ingredients like coconut oil and goats milk, smells unbelievable. I was in bliss just sniffing it, leaves a subtle scent on your fresh clean bod, felt moisturising and looks like it will last a while too. Good value for money, great ingredients, loved it. when I run out I will treat myself!

wasabi solid perfume $5.00
Sexy hot wasabi! This is a clean, really complex, really sexy very version of the spicy scent of wasabi. It's the perfect fragrance interpretation of something that has a natural intensity that is hard to replicate. It's delicious, and always gets a good reaction!
I always love a solid perfume - throw it in your bag and hit the road! I like they they are slightly lighter, more localized scents and don't overwhelm your nose all day because they've been sprayed on your clothes or hair.

My experience:
I'll be super honest, I did not like this smell at all. It smells earthy and grassy and very subtle. Maybe I am just totally into stronger faux foody smells to appreciate this scent I'm not sure. I let a few people smell it and they all thought it was a very nice but a little bit of a faint smell for them.
I will say that Regina makes this solid perfume in lots of other scents so I would be keen to try a different one as i do love a solid perfume and I will say that even with my sensitive skin it was very moisturising and didn't irritate my skin at all.

Regina obviously takes a huge amout of care and uses only the finest ingredient and her products, you can tell have been lovingly and extremely well made which I appreciate.
Regina IS ALSO Fantastic to work with, she is super professional and friendly and has great customer service.
